The SD204 measures, calculates and records sea water conductivity, salinity, temperature, depth (pressure), sound velocity and water density. Three optional sensors can be added, f. example: dissolved oxygen, fluorescence and turbidity. For optional sensors with several sensitivity ranges, the SD204 has auto range capability. Data are recorded in physical units.
The TD301/TD303 are precision instruments measuring temperature and depth (pressure) in the sea, lakes, water reservoirs, groundwater, rivers and on R.O.V. etc. Data are recorded in physical units and simultaneously transmitted via an RS232 I/O watertight connector for on-line use.
The TD301R is a high precision instrument for recording/ monitoring of water level in the sea, lakes, water reservoirs, groundwater and in rivers etc. Also measurement of temperature is included. The sensing element is a unique pressure sensor with built-in temperature compensation. A feature that maintane the high accuracy (0.01%) over a broad temperature range (-2 - 40 deg C).
A high precision instrument for recording/monitoring of tide or water level and also temperature. Optional sensors can be added: dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and fluorescence (Chlorophyll/Rhodamine/CDOM). The TD304 is available as absolute(TD304A) or reference (TD304R with vented cable and On-land-Unit) types. Data are recorded on internal memory and/or transmitted in physical units via an RS-232 I/O water tight connector. The TD304 provides autorange function for multirange sensors like the turbidity and fluorescence sensors.
The CU901 is a unit for governing data acquisition from measuring stations/buoys in the field. It is made for two-way communication via Iridium satellite, GSM and UHF/VHF. The Iridium satellite system has worldwide coverage and the subscription is affordable. Power economy is important for field stations, and the CU901 has several power saving functions, which are programmable via menu. For example: Setting interval and "time-window" for receiving calls for polling of data, and governing ON/OFF functions for connected units: sensors, the Tx/Rx satellite terminal and GPS. The CU901 is delivered with the PC-program SD200W which contains all functions for call, receive, storage of data on file, post prosessing, presentation and distribution of data e.g. on e-mail.
The APB505 is originally designed for monitoring water quality in fish farming industry. However, it is as well suited for any application that need automatic profiling of data. The buoy contains a control unit, CU801B, an Embedded Web Server, a GSM/GPRS/EDGE router, a winch, a short range radio for communication with sensor unit, and NiMH battery back-up. In fish farm application, it is normally powered from external supply, but can also be equipped with solar cells. The control unit can be remotely programmed to desired profiling frequency and depth.
